Kurt and I worked throught this route this past weekend, determining our contacts, political issues, and fasted distances. The bike route basically goes from either Athens, Greece or Turkey to Germany, and then shoots back to Lithuania. hey dave,
all looks good, at least its a starting place. I've been reading the book "miles from nowhere" but haven't made time to do much else. this weekend I'm going around to some shops to ask questions.
the ride went real well, finished strong in less than six hours riding time. we had a wreck at mile 45, who was at fault is not clear or important, but rachel's bike got messed up and my frame has a small dent/bend in the non drive seatstay. I don't know how thats going to effect resale value. I want to have it sold before fall break, or have bought my new bike by then.
