A Nepali boy is curious to see any trekkers passing by his house. Because I was so early in the season and this is the part of the trek where tourists can be stopped by Maoists, there were very few hikers. During the first five days, we only saw seven others. After the trail splits from Lukla, however, we saw more tourists than this in the first 15 minutes.
