Dried Lake

Description : That\'s what the map calls it, although it looks full of water. Francois and I decided to take a shortcut down this way to the Everest Base Camp (5364m) with Ken, a friend from Japan. We hiked down some really sketchy rockfall and then orienteered to hit the trail coming from Gorak Shep. You can see the Everest ice flow in the background. Base Camp is right at the bottom of the flow.
